Re: Easy / Awesome dark beer!

WOW!

I'd be way interested in that. I've never seen hopped DME.

I'm doing two nano-batches in the next two days:

One is an American Pale Ale and the other is a PBR clone (to toast the beer that sponsored many of my rock shows) with a little more body and ABV.

I'll post recipes and results.

After I've fermented for 14 days, should I leave the EZCap on when I put the bottle in the fridge? Don't I want to preserve the carbonation with a non-EZCAP while its conditioning in the fridge? We know the cold crashes out the yeast, so its not like the bottle will explode. But when I open a fermen...

Non-Sparkling?

First of all, I want to say great product! I'm hooked on Nano-brewing. I've already tried a ton of juices and beer mixes. My question (and it might seem stupid): What if I want to drink a non-sparkling wine? What I come up with everytime is kind of like a strong champagne or sparkling dry red wine. ...

Re: How to make beer with EZ Caps

Everytime I brew a large batch of beer with my homebrew equipment, I have some extract left over and/or some leftover wort. I always mix these up and do a small EZ-cap batch--sometimes as litle as 1 Liter. I've had great results! Only problem with the straining as described above is that it highly o...

Great information! Thanks for the recipe.

What type of Munton's DME do you use? I'm assuming dark?
