From my experience, citric acid acts like a stimulant when it comes to yeaste growth and reproduction...But, the yeaste will require more nutrients, since their metabolism is is enhanced. I'd try between a 1/2 cup to 1 cup of sugar per lemon. Let the caps do their job for a few days....Taste, and if it still tastes too dry or bitter, put another cup in and let her rip.
