Non Carbonated Wine

Postby yahoo » Wed Nov 10, 2004 8:57 am

Hello to all,
I am making two different bottles of wine using the welch's white
grape juice concentrate and the regular (purple) grape juice.
The white juice I am making with the ez cap on it to make it
carbonated but the purple one I just put the plastic wrap on top and
poked a hole in it as per the instructions.
Everything is going well but here is the problem, the dark grape
juice with just the platic wrap on top has some carbonation to it.
Why does it have this? and will it go away before bottling? Also, is
it normal for it to be carbonated for a while then lose it after it
done fermenting?

Thanks to all for your help.
