I love the different flavors of hawaiian punch. Has anyone ever tried using that to make a wine with, or does anyone know why it wouldnt work?

It would probably work (yeast loves corn syrup) but the flavor is going to be vastly different after the fermentation is over. Plus you'll have to back-sweeten it to restore that Hawaiian Punch sugar overdose.

I've made it quite often using a cup of sugar. Always takes longer to ferment than grape juice. It does make a pleasant dessert wine.
